WHAT DOES “TATTOO-FRIENDLY” SKINCARE MEAN?

“Tattoo-friendly” skincare means a product contains natural and organic ingredients, and lacks pore-clogging and toxic chemicals that fade ink over time.

Chances are, you’ve been using common drug-store healing ointments on your artworks. Unfortunately, these products were not created with tattoos in mind, and contain various chemicals that can harm your ink.

It’s not enough for products to simply heal skin. The intricacies of tattoo line work, shading, and coloring must be kept in front of mind, and we formulated the ART PRESERVATION STICK exactly that way. We promise, we are tattoo-friendly.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ONLY GOOD FOR USE ON TATTOOS?

Our products are designed to be used anywhere on the body that craves an extra boost of moisture. We’ve just given an extra thought to your tattoos, but the ART PRESERVATION STICK also works wonders as a soothing and nourishing body balm.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO?

Freshly-inked skin is essentially an open wound, and there is no single solution for healing a tattoo. As a general rule, keep it clean, moisturized, and away from sun exposure, but definitely check with your artist first for any after-care questions or concerns.

CAN I USE THE ART PRESERVATION STICK ON A FRESH TATTOO?

Absolutely! The ART PRESERVATION STICK was formulated with fresh tattoos in mind. However, to avoid double dipping on your new artwork, we strongly recommend using an applicator (i.e small spatula or clean fingers) for the first 7-10 days.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY YOUR STICK ON MY TATTOO?

For a new tattoo, we recommend using the ART PRESERVATION STICK 2-3 times a day on clean, dry skin.

For a healed tattoo, we recommend using it once a day. Remember, your tattoo will only look as good as the skin it sits on. The secret to long-lasting artwork is a regularly moisturized canvas. Always listen to your artist for complete aftercare instructions.

IS THE ART PRESERVATION STICK SCENTED?

No. The ART PRESERVATION STICK is 100% free of synthetic ingredients. However, the pure ingredients we use have a subtle, natural scent.

HOW BIG IS THE ART PRESERVATION STICK?

The Art Preservation Stick is a mini stick that was designed to provide a convenient and on-the-go nourishing experience. It weighs 0.5oz (15g). Measurements: 1.5" wide x 3" high (with cap)

Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Castor wax, Ozokerite, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) seed oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) kernel oil, Copernicia prunifera (carnauba) wax, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil.
